Few scenarios test a team’s toughness quite like double-digit deficits against division foes, and in Week 3, Denver countered in perhaps the best way possible: a 52-yard touchdown strike, courtesy of Bo Nix and his trusted Pro Bowl wideout. Scoreless, and in dire need of a pre-halftime spark, Nix — ironically throwing from just behind the Chargers’ midfield lightning bolt — showcased his arm talent on a much-needed score to keep the Broncos within striking distance. Los Angeles survived the comeback attempt, dealing Denver a 23-20 defeat on Sept. 21, 2025, but Nix performed nonetheless, going 14-of-25 for 153 yards and a score, alongside eight carries for 33 yards.
