Taking it himself, he turned up the far sideline and saw a Kansas City defender between himself and the first down marker. He took flight, clearing Justin Reid on the hurdle and picking up a fresh set of downs for the Bills. Buffalo would score on the drive to take the lead, a lead they'd never relinquish again in a 24-20 victory over the Chiefs on Oct. 16, 2022. Allen finished 27-of-40 through the air for 329 yards and three touchdowns while carrying the ball 12 times for 32 yards in the win.
