It takes all types of players to build a team capable of reaching the Super Bowl, and 49ers receiver Chris Conley's versatility in punt coverage played a big part in them battling the Chiefs into overtime in Super Bowl LVIII. On three separate punt plays, Conley made a huge impact, twice making the tackle to stop the returner in his tracks, and once getting into the perfect spot downfield to down the ball at the one-yard line. Conley also added an 18-yard catch in this one, but San Francisco would ultimately fall to Kansas City in overtime, 25-22, in this epic matchup on Feb. 11, 2024.
