A second-round pick in the 1981 NFL Draft, rookie Bengals receiver Cris Collinsworth saved one of his finest plays of a standout debut season for the third quarter of Super Bowl XVI. On a third-and-23 play, Collinsworth got behind the defense deep along the left sideline, and when the quarterback lofted the ball his way, he managed to position himself perfectly underneath it to make a fabulous over-the-shoulder grab for a gain of 49 yards. Collinsworth finished this one with five catches for 107 yards, but Cincinnati would ultimately fall to the 49ers in this one, 26-21, on Jan. 24, 1982.
