Star 49ers receiver Dwight Clark created a bit of separation deep down the middle on this play, but though the defender closed down on him as the ball was arriving, Clark was able to hang on through the contact, making a bobbling grab before sprinting to the end zone for a career-long 80-yard score. Clark went on to accrue 127 yards and one score on five catches in this one, as the 49ers beat the Oilers, 34-21, on Oct. 21, 1984.
