Making his second ever appearance in an NFL game after being selected with the second pick in the 1983 NFL Draft, Rams rookie running back Eric Dickerson flashed all the skills that would get him into the NFL record books just a year later. Taking 18 carries for 88 yards in this one, Dickerson found the end zone on three occasions, including the game-winning score with under two minutes to go. He also caught four passes for another 40 yards, giving him 128 yards of total offense on the day. Dickerson and the Rams would go on to beat the Saints in this one, 30-27, on Sept. 11, 1983.
