Pressured to rediscover his rhythm quickly after missing reps during both training camp and in the preseason, Tyler Lockett proved himself to be the dictionary's definition of the word “veteran” in Week 1. In a show of proven chemistry with his Pro Bowl quarterback, Lockett elevated downfield, retrieving a back-shoulder throw for a 19-yard gain. The catch helped orchestrate both his teammate’s 34-yard touchdown one play later, and a second quarter lead. Joining the 8,000-yard receiving club during the Seattle Seahawks’ 26-20 win over the Denver Broncos, the always-reliable Lockett caught six passes for 77 yards on Sept. 8, 2024.
