Inspired from afar after watching record-breaking tight ends from the 2023 NFL Draft class take the league by storm, Brock Bowers, through five weeks, offered the look of a player capable of making lightning strike twice. Initially blending in from within Las Vegas’ condensed formation, Bowers, as he often does, made himself a standout by springing through the air for an acrobatic, contested snag before speeding off into a 57-yard catch-and-run, and his career’s first-ever touchdown. Elevating himself to his position's No. 1 spot across nearly every statistic, Bowers shined in the Raiders' 34-18 loss to the Denver Broncos, recording eight catches (on 12 targets) for 97 yards and a touchdown on Oct. 6, 2024.
