First making his name as one of San Francisco’s key special team contributors, Brown trusted that physicality, diagnosing the Patriots’ screen pass from a mile away before blowing the play up with a big-time hit. Brown’s fingerprint was found throughout the 49ers’ 30-13 victory over New England on Sept. 29, 2024, as the second-year safety tallied eight tackles (five solo), two tackles for a loss, one pass defended, and just 10 yards allowed (on six targets).
