With San Francisco already out to an early 13-point advantage, superstar tight end George Kittle and the 49ers offense didn't waste any time putting the game out of reach early with just a few minutes to go in the first half. On second-and-ten from the 12-yard line, the ball was lofted Kittle's way, and he elevated over three Patriots defenders in the end zone to snatch the ball out of the air and bring it down for a touchdown. The score extended the 49ers lead to 20 points, and was part of a four-catch, 45-yard day for Kittle. San Francisco would ultimately go on to defeat New England in this one, 30-13, on Sept. 29, 2024.
