Used artistically with Indianapolis just four yards shy of a double-digit lead, Downs opens with deceptive pre-snap motion, shifting inside before pivoting back outside, and then finally, breaking inward once more, retrieving his season’s first score. Making good on showcasing his abilities when healthy, Downs exploded in Indianapolis’ 27-24 win over the Steelers on Sept. 29, 2024, turning eight catches (on nine targets) into 82 yards and a touchdown.
