description

On the biggest play of what would prove to be the Jets' biggest win of the season, Sauce Gardner delivered. Buffalo trailed by three points with under a minute to play when quarterback Josh Allen rolled out and launched a pass deep down the far sideline, intended for Gabe Davis. But Sauce Gardner was there in tight coverage, blanketing the wide receiver and forcing the incompletion and turnover on downs. New York would regain possession, kneel it once, and seal the win. Gardner added seven total tackles in the game, a 20-17 Jets victory over the Bills on Nov. 6, 2022.
