Down by a touchdown in the fourth quarter but within striking distance, Washington quarterback Doug Williams dropped back to pass and fired a ball right over the middle towards the goal line. The receiver hauled the pass in and then fought his way into the end zone for the game-tying score. Williams threw for 299 yards and two touchdowns in this one, as Washington defeated the Saints, 27-24, on Nov. 6, 1988.
