Despite missing much of the 2006 NFL Season due to injury, superstar Colts safety Bob Sanders made his return for the postseason, and put together a special performance when it mattered most: Super Bowl XLI. In the first quarter, he laid a big hit on the opposing running back, knocking the ball free for a fumble, which was recovered by a teammate to complete the turnover. Sanders later picked off a deep ball in the fourth quarter to create his second turnover of the day, leaping up to make a bobbling grab before falling to the turf, hopping back up, and returning the ball 38 yards downfield. His final stat line of three tackles, one forced fumble, and one interception helped lead Indianapolis to a 29-17 win to capture the title on Feb. 4, 2007.
