Fighting for his second Super Bowl ring in four seasons, Raiders quarterback Jim Plunkett dropped back to pass on this second quarter play, scanned the field, and then fired a pass to the end zone for the 12-yard score. Plunkett would go on to throw for 172 yards in this one with this one touchdown, as the Raiders beat Washington in Super Bowl XVIII, 38-9, on Jan. 22, 1984.
