Trailing by a field goal in the first quarter in the season opener, new Raiders running back Alexander Mattison decided to make an early impression on his new fan base. Catching an outlet pass out to the right, Mattison hurdled over one would-be tackler while pulling away from another before taking off down the sideline for the score. The 31-yard score was part of a four-catch, 43-yard day Mattison put together catching the football, and he also added another 19 yards on the ground, as the Raiders fell to the Chargers, 22-10, on Sept. 8, 2024.
