Safely penciled in as one of NFL’s most productive year-to-year runners, James Conner left behind perhaps the first signature during Week 1’s clash between the Arizona Cardinals and Buffalo Bills. Instrumental in driving Arizona’s offense down the field on the first two series, Conner added a touchdown to his afternoon’s tally, patiently powering through a lane on a draw play for a three-yard score. It marked the first time since 2006, in which the Cardinals scored on all three of their opening-season drives. Versatile in the 34-28 loss on Sept. 8, Conner provided 16 attempts for 50 yards and a touchdown, complemented by three receptions for 33 yards.
