With the depth of the Rams’ wide receiver room being tested, Demarcus Robinson’s Week 2 situation required him to be both the “next man up,” and, as evidenced by his downfield play, the first man up, as well. Working on-the-fly communication with his Pro Bowl quarterback during an off-platform play, Robinson’s veteran presence took shape in finding a way to shake free of two Arizona Cardinals defenders before elevating for a 42-yard reception. Robinson made good on the extended opportunity, providing two catches (on four targets) for a team-high 50 yards during Los Angeles’ 41-10 loss on Sept. 15, 2024.
