Breaking into a middle-of-the-field seam against Minnesota’s zone coverage, the second-year sensation adjusts to a slightly-underthrown ball, reaching out to reel in a 25-yarder, pushing Detroit into scoring territory. LaPorta's catch was one of Detroit's many eye-opening second quarter sequences, in which they produced three different touchdown drives. The Pro Bowl tight end offered a one-catch, 25-yard contribution, helping secure both a 31-29 win over the Vikings on Oct. 20, 2024, and a first-place spot in the league’s most productive division to date.
