Welcome to the Falcons' history books, Kirk Cousins! In this Thursday night matchup between two NFC South foes, Atlanta and Tampa Bay, the new Falcons signal caller refused to give up in an unforgettable back-and-forth battle that saw the teams combine for nearly 900 yards of total offense. Throwing all over the field with surgical precision, dissecting the Buccaneers defense no matter how they lined up, Cousins led a last-second drive that resulted in a game-tying field goal with no time left on the clock, and then tossed the game-winning score in overtime to seal the deal. All told, Cousins threw for a team-record (and career-high) 509 yards in this one, tossing four touchdown passes along the way, as Atlanta beat Tampa Bay, 36-30, on Oct. 3, 2024.
