Proving to be a bright spot for the Bears offense in their matchup with the 49ers, rookie Chicago receiver Rome Odunze put on a dazzling display of red zone finesse with two remarkable touchdown catches in the second half. On the first, he elevated over a defender in the back corner of the end zone, made the grab, and then managed to get both feed in bounds for a four-yard score. Later, he added another touchdown, this one from 14 yards out as he snatched a pass out of the air before absorbing a hit and hanging on. Odunze tallied a total of 42 yards on four catches in this one, scoring twice, as Chicago fell to San Francisco, 38-13, on Dec. 8, 2024.
