Playing in just his seventh game with the Commanders franchise after a three-year hiatus from kicking in the NFL, Zane Gonzalez's first career playoff action came down to the powers of his right foot. With the game tied and almost no time remaining, Gonzalez's 37-yard field goal attempt clanked off the right upright, but bounced through the goal posts for a successful field goal, giving Washington their first playoff win in two decades. Gonzalez scored 11 points in the game, going three-for-three on field goals while converting both of his extra point attempts, helping the Commanders to a 23-20 win over Tampa Bay on Jan. 12, 2025.
