Broncos rookie Devaughn Vele, having battled his way into the receiver rotation in Denver, showed some incredible awareness, body control, and hands on this play, lunging in the back of the end zone to catch a ball that had been deflected and batted around multiple times just before it hit the turf. The three-yard score increased Denver's first half lead, and was part of a four-catch, 50-yard day for Vele. The Broncos would go on to win this one, 38-0, over the Chiefs on Jan. 5, 2025, to book their ticket to the playoffs.
